The Platypus Quickdraw is a great Squeeze filter system that is compact and pretty efficient. The bag holds 1litre of water with a good size opening to fill. A Platty Valve was used on this model of Platypus Quickdraw. A Platty Valve is a valve that assists with easy filling and provides smooth water flow. Platty Valves are patented by Platypus. This filter has no large hoses, so it can be carried in any backpack with space for it to attach to the water bladder.

The filter and bladder roll up together and a simple rubber band can secure it appropriately. Making this easy to store in your backpack, backcountry pack, or survival go-bag.

Platypus Quickdraw systems attach to Platypus hydration containers with the same threading pattern as most other Platypus models. So you can connect it directly to Platypus bottles or Platypus reservoirs, depending on what your hiking style is.

This is why Platypus QuickDraw Microfilter System is a top-rated water filter system.

Because of its size, it doesn’t weigh you down, it’s compact and easy to carry.

The Quickdraw does its job as expected. If you’re an outdoor enthusiast, then the Platypus microfilter system is a must-have for your next adventure.

The benefits of using a hydration bladder instead of bottled water are undeniable. With the ability to carry both types and stay fully fueled, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be doing this!
